Dating back to the 16th century, the family’s history reached a turning point in 1808, when Honoré Legras developed one of the best vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. This Champagne vine-growing area takes its name from Chardonnay, one of the finest white grape varieties and the leading variety of this area.
